Films for the Feminist Classroom is an online, open-access journal that publishes film reviews that provide a critical assessment of the value of films as pedagogical tools in the feminist classroom. Special features, such as interviews with filmmakers and lesson plans, are included to further promote engagement and discussion. FFC endeavors to serve as a dynamic resource for scholars, teachers, and librarians and to enhance feminist curricula, bringing film into the classroom via thought-provoking, relevant, and engaging reviews. FFC is hosted by the Department of Women’s Studies at Texas Woman’s University. It was initiated under the auspices of the Signs editorial office and the Rutgers University Women’s and Gender Studies Department.
