Feminist Frictions is part of the Feminist Public Intellectuals Project. This installation of Feminist Frictions examines the concept of trigger warnings, featuring an essay by Jack Halberstam and a digital archive related to the topic.

Digital Archive: Trigger Warnings

This digital archive extends the themes of Halberstam's essay to examine debates around trigger warnings and feminist theorizing about victimization and trauma, censorship and academic freedom, and pedagogy. It collects links to essays, videos, podcasts, and other resources. While far from exhaustive, we hope it will be of use to teachers, students, and anyone interested in issues of trigger warnings. To suggest any useful resources on the topic that are not currently included, we invite you to email the journal office.
